What's Out Night?

A fixture of the NSMT calendar, Out Night takes place on the second Thursday of each show run and is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community on the North Shore. Performers from our current main stage production join forces for a one-off cabaret evening in the Broadway Club. Patrons and cast members alike love these special evenings!

About your pianist

Simon Byrne is a music director and pianist based on the North Shore. He has been at the keys for NSMT's Out Night since 2024, and makes sure that everything runs smoothly and everyone stays smiling and enjoying themselves on the night. He also teaches and MDs across all of the education shows and programs at NSMT.
